Kelsey-Seybold Clinics: Ambulatory Surgical Center
- Spring, Texas
- 12,000 GSF
The built program for this clinic includes eight Pre-Operative Bays, three Treatment Rooms, one Operating Room, eight Post-Operative Bays and six Step-Down Rooms.
A key driver for this project was the incorporation of effective functional adjacencies to support the efficient circulation of patients, staff and equipment. Nonclinical workflow was carefully considered during design to maximize efficiency of charting and dictation.
From the family waiting area and lounge to the pre-operative bays and staff work areas, spaces were designed to maximize the use of natural daylight. Earth tones dominate the finishes, with warm woods featured throughout the waiting area and nursing stations.
The completed facility provides an efficient environment where staff can focus on patient needs and care.
