Courtney C. Harper, AIA, LEED AP

President

Ms. Harper leads the design and management of the firm’s projects and brings more 30 years of experience to the company in educational, healthcare, commercial and municipal projects. Her past experience includes Partner-in-Charge for Houston ISD Mark Twain Elementary School and for Sugar Grove Middle School Academy, and for ongoing work at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children’s Hospital. Ms. Harper co-authored a Handbook of Sustainable Architecture Guidelines for the City of Houston which was distributed to interested community groups and planners for implementation in their redevelopment efforts.

A native Texan, through and through, Courtney Harper was raised in a small farming community located in the Coastal Bend. Today, she is the proud parent of two sons, two Irish Setters and her own architectural firm. After 30 years in the industry, she remains incredibly passionate about understanding a client’s goals and delivering unique design solutions attuned to specific settings and precise purposes. When not in the architecture studio, Courtney is a student at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston Glassell Studio School. Her paintings have been featured in three juried exhibits, including an AIA Houston showing. Courtney is also an especially active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, located in Houston’s Rice Village.
