Raised in Wichita, Kansas, Kyle Thiel arrived in Houston by way of Manhattan, Kansas, Los Angeles, California, New Haven, Connecticut and St. Louis, Missouri. A happily married father of one, Kyle can be found on weekends hovering over his grill or working on an especially demanding architectural project – the methodical renovation of his family’s 1960s ranch home.

In Kyle’s words, “The conversation between a client and designer is what fuels me as an architect. I have found that design challenges can be the catalysts for viewing a project with a renewed sense of opportunity. Working to optimize solutions for design challenges is what inspires me to be involved in the dialog.”
